<P>Dear taxpayer, You are receiving this notice because your 2007 Massachusetts income tax return has been selected for verification. In order for us to resolve this issue, it is necessary that you provide the following information and/or documentation: </P>
<P> </P>
<P>1) A completed copy of your 2007 Federal Income Tax Return including all schedules, attachments and all forms to substantiate any withholding amounts shown on your return. </P>
<P> </P>
<P>2) A copy of your pay stub issued by your employer. </P>
<P> </P>
<P>3) If an Individual Taxpayer Indentification Number (ITIN) was used for anyone listed on the return, including dependents, please submit a copy of the letter issued by the IRS to verify the numbers. </P>
<P> </P>

<P>可以和Department of Revenue's Audit Division联系讨论这个问题 </P>

<P>If you would like to appeal, you have the right to a pre-assessment conference, to request settlement consideration or both, with the Office of Appeals. </P>

<P>然后附了一张response form If you want to appeal this notice, you may request a conference to dispute the proposed assessment... </P>

<P>先说一下我的情况，我是07 fall的新生，没有2007的tax return，办理了07年的tax traty，税表是去school of management 填的。不知道大家有没有遇到过这种情况，我也不清楚是不是SOM填错了，谢谢了。我明天会先打个电话问问情况。</P>
