有谁整过joint tax return?

今天去SOM填表，等了2hrs才轮到我。但他们告诉我最好不要单独填报，说我的另一半是resident，我和他应该整joint tax return（说是退的多些）。先生和我在不同的州，我们以前都是自己学校的volunteer帮忙搞的。如果报joint,是否可以用上chao提到的Turbo? State的税又该怎么报？我们该向不同的州申报么？有过类似经历的请多多赐教。感谢~<br>

应该找我。我可以收的便宜一点。

你们俩file joint return比较划算，你可以有standard deduction，一个人5000多吧，不过全球的income都要报税，利息也要报了。
软件应该可以用吧。
州税你最好打电话给州税务局问问。对麻省来说，如果你配偶不是MA resident，他的收入是不需要缴麻省的税的，至少我那时候问是这样的。
不过时间挺紧的了，如果你自己搞不定，还是找CPA吧。

联邦税 file jointly

州税  sepetately ，貌似应该这样

主要是联邦税你能多退回来不少，至少 多 500吧

<P>现在没有空了解tax rule, 我觉得找专业cpa报最省事， 等我拿到tenure我就 转做tax, 然后考CPA 开店保税， 哈。</P>
