请教一下UMass CS的前辈们

<P>小弟今年申请到了UMass CS PHD的offer，同时还受到了UCDavis的offer。</P>
<P>现在正在选择，你们觉得我应该去哪个啊？从将来就业的角度考虑。</P>

这么直接回复UCDavis是因为两地差距很大吗？

<P>It's comparable if you into research, but job-wise, definitely CA has more opportunities</P>
<P>BUT, the chinese community is great here...hehe, your choice.</P>

假如去大公司那种research lab（比如microsoft、ibm）,哪家大学更有优势呢？

<P>dont know about UCDavis. But UMass is very strong in AI, ML and IR. These companies come to recruite every year. Lots of alumni in MS, IBM, google&nbsp;etc..Whether you can get in though, all&nbsp;depends on&nbsp; &nbsp;your personal abilities.</P>
