[/quote]<br>chill out. Let's not mix issues here. Nobody can argue with the amount of economic progress China has made in the past 30 years. That's a different issue than what you are referring to. Besides, freedom is such a relative term. Granted, China has a lot to improve but so does everyone else. The US has a 200 year head start on the subject and it's still far from perfect. Even then, some may say people's rights to "freedom" has taken a step backward since say 7 years ago, but the advocates would say it's a necessity to maintain safety and stability.<br><br>
