求助有经验的同学，TA的screening test

昨天收到系里的信件，通知开学后参加ta的mandatory speak test/ screening test
很发怵啊很发怵。。。。:cold :cold :cold

在此特向各位参加过或耳闻过此类考试的前辈求教：
1，考什么内容，通常情况
2，考试什么形式？
3，考的不好有什么后果？

很无聊 考不过要上课 不过这个和TA合同没关系的

TA 英语screening test是专门给那些需要做TA的学生的，如果英语不够流利，口音太重的就会需要去上那个课。不去一般需要GPD的批准。

别小看了这个课，其实有些人快毕业了都会主动要求去上这个课呢，在国内，这样的课得好几千人民币。如果遇到一个水平不错的老师，你能学到很多技巧，不只是语言，还有一些沟通技巧，包括presentation技巧。当然老师基本都是研究生或者实习生，有时会遇到水平不好的。看你运气。没有作业，花不了多久时间。

考的形式和内容基本和TSE一样。但这个考试不会影响你的学术表现。一个学期后可以要求不去。

来读研尤其是读理工phd的几年下来基本都是埋头苦干，好多人一天平均能说上10句英文的就不错了，平时不注意保持水平，结果反而是退步的。

很多人几年下来，做presentation水平仍然很差的。

<P>六个句型了，嗯，差不多了，然后，给信用卡公司，银行，保险公司，电话公司，闭路电视公司，网络公司，等等等等，打电话，问所有你想问的问题。听不懂或没听清就用上述句型过渡再听一遍，或者多遍，信用卡公司最好晚上打，基本上是印度的customer service，最练听力。最后别忘了说Thank you very much。</P>

<P>基本上够一个学期的口语课了（强化班）。</P>

seriously, 个人非常认同语文老师给的建议
偶觉得很多人在跟人交谈听不懂的第一直觉就是点头,希望敷衍过去
但往往这样做只会让你接下去越听越听越糊涂,要不然就是前言不达后语
很快就会信心全无
在听不懂的情况下敢于说beg you pardon之类的话,既能让对方很快认识到你在哪里不懂
减慢语速,或者使用更加易懂的单词,对下面的沟通都很有帮助
而且当你听懂简单的version的某个句子,可以借此机会去询问前面的说法
即能学到东西,又起到了主动引导话题的作用

偶更怕的是自己说完后对方向我抛出那“六大句式”::shanggan ::shanggan
