Dentist Good/Black list

Hey,

I've heard that there are many complaints from Chinese and other GEO members about certain dentists overcharging or charging in services which should not be charged, and anything which is bad about them.  

GEO is going to do something about those dentists, but we need to generate a list and complaints.  Let's do it in this thread.  

But if you do have an excellent dentist to recommend, please do so too so that other people can make good use of the advice.

I'm starting here.  

Perry And Slesnick PC  in 31 Hall Drive is a Big NO NO.  

They charged Andrew and I when we went teeth cleaning, which should be 100% covered.  

I've heard complaints from GEO members about them charging teeth cleaning too.  

The receptionists talk to you like they know about your insurance, but they don't.

这个好像就是sherry和偶都去过n次的地方？
名字好像不同
9号路，过了rolling green一点？
总体印象还可以，teeth cleaning都是nurse干的
都挺nice的，洗得也很耐心
偶第一次teeth cleaning也被charge了
不过好像是说因为偶从来没洗过，
结果要deep clean,所以保险不全cover?
偶就信了，就交了
偶来几次都没有收钱
懂行的同学解释解释，deep clean到底cover不？

The name is also 1st advantage.  Yes, it's the same one nearby rolling green.  

They also said Andrew needed deep cleaning so it should be charged.  I checked with Delta Dental, and then they say it should be covered once in a life time, so we don't need to pay for it.  I double checked with Andrew, and doubt if there is difference between deep cleaning and regular one.  Anyway,teeth cleaning should be 100% covered.  If not, we should really double check with Delta Dental before paying the bill.

哈哈，那nurse 也是对我说一样的话，说要deep clean。但感觉和一般的洗牙没有区别。我查过保险是包的，但他们file claim 时弄错了(连自己是什么network 也搅错...)，结果要我打电话去delta dental 搞定。

只有black list啊，有没有好的推荐一下，放假了想看一下牙医，不单单洗牙，想看看是上火还是得了牙周病。
还有，是不是我需要通过学校hospital，还是直接去找牙医？

Go to [url]https://www.deltamass.com/find_a_dentist/search.asp[/url] and look for dentists by zip code.  Our plan is PPO.  You don't need to get through UHS, just call the dentist for appointment.  

I can't really refer a great dentist to you, but I saw Slesnick ,Michael and he's ok.  At least he didn't charge me extra on the bill.  Just never go to the dentists in Hall drive.  Their admin sucks.  I think they mess up in purpose.

Just checked and found out that the Hall Drive location is where the Valley Medical Group is. I remember sb recommends it and am planning to call for an appt. Good to see this post.

Mandy, how come I cannot find Slesnick, Michael at the Deltamass website? Do you still have his phone and addr. ?  Thanks.

I just found him on the dentist search [url]https://www.deltamass.com/find_a_dentist/findadentist.asp[/url] .  He's a general dentist and under PPO plan, which all GEO members are under.

Thanks!  That's a very good model of using the dental service!  BTW, the triangle street general dentist is a nice one.  They offer free hand/face message while you're waiting for the dentist.  And the room is full of fragrance of aromatherapy, and the arm chair is so comfortable and relaxing, and the music... Give it a try!
