春假计划

tentative schedule<p><p>

This trip will cover THE Four American icon places, literally they are the most worth visiting places in US or even in the world.
<p>
1. Grand Canyon (the most unique symbol of US even north america, no other place in the world can compare)<p>

March 16 Friday or Sat fly to las vegas,<p>
Sat/Sun Las Vegas<p>
Sun nite: camp or hotel at Grand Canyon, AZ<p>
Monday/Tuesday Grand Canyon, AZ<p>
Tue nite arrive Capital Reef NP, Utah<p>
Wed Canyonlands NP, Utah, visit Forrest Gump Road<p>
Wed nite arrive Salt Lake City, Utah join the MIT ski club ppl<p>
Thur daytime ski at SLC or you can choose Plan B<p>

Fri  ski at SLC  or you can choose Plan B<p>

Fri nite: hot tub, clubbing<p>
Saturday ski at SLC or or you can choose Plan B<p>
Saturday camp at Capital Reef NP<p>
Sunday morning Capital Reef NP, Canyonlands NP<p>
March 25 Sunday nite back to Vegas, you can fly back Sunday nite or spend another day in vegas and fly back March 26 Monday<p><p>

Plan B: sightseeing at SLC, famous Mo2 Men2 Temple is located in SLC downtown area, Salt Lake, snow mountains, and Salt Lake Statement Park can see  bison in the park.<p><p>

This is the road where Forrest Gump stops his running, also in Utah<p>

Estimated Cost:<p>
Airline ticket $300/person round trip<p>
Hotel: $12/person/nite*9days=$108<p>
Car rental(including gas): $8/person/day*10=$80<p>
NP addmissions: $8/park/person*3=$24<p><p>

If not to ski(can still enjoy hot tub etc.) All together: $512<p>
Plus ski: around $70/day so<p>
ski one day total is $582<p>
ski two day total is $652<p>

还是挺难得的

呵呵，这几个地方正好去年暑假去过，给knnd同学提个醒。

看你的路线，是从Vegas出发，经过Capitol Reef再到Arches/Canyon Lands，但是这样一来，Forest Gump Road（Monument Valley）和Salt Lake City分别在Arches的南北两个方向，都去的话要走好几百英里的回头路。

小建议两个：

Grand Canyon是很了得，不过肯定不值得呆一整天；主要是后面有景的实在是更加了得。

从Grand Canyon去Capitol Reef的路上路过Zion和Bryce两个National Park，相当值得一看。

Arches和Canyon Lands很近，Arches是最值得一看得National Park，绝对不能错过，Canyon Lands其实可以不去，省时间还不后悔。

如果从Las Vegas出来，到大峡谷南端（South Rim），再经过Momument Valley（Forest Gump Road），到Arches，然后往北到Salt Lake City，也许好一些，不过会错过Zion，Bryce和Capitol Reef。

画一个自己，把他放在里面 <p>
实验室里面没有雪，<p>
