check engine 灯亮，该去哪里读error code？

今天在116开的好好的，突然engine灯亮了，不知道是engine有问题还是sensor有问题。请问哪里有auto parts或者厚道些的修车铺能check一下啊？

What brand and model of car is yours?

My Mercedes would have such light on when I forget to close the gas cap after filling the gas, I would just drive to local AutoZone, and have the store clerks turn it off for me via a code.  They usually would do it for free, and I never hesitate to tip them a few bucks.

这边有开Mercedes的？年代，型号？

想买SLK的，没找到deal

我的是01hyundai elantra。离amherst最近的autozone是不是在northampton？

我正好也是开这个，
,我以前也试。过可试一下把加油的那个 cap 关紧一点，超码 7-8 个 click ，有人说要等一两天。

想买新型的还是第一代？

First gen of course.

No $45k in my bank  :cry:

When I had mine I bought it out of town that's 3 hours away.  Good choice on first Gen SLK, I have mine for years, love it and still cannot seem to like the new look of the newer model which is not as elegant.

I almost got a 2001 SLK for $15k from NYC, but my test drive was delayed by the snowstorm on Valentine's day. Then somebody else took it :cry:

The only drawback of that car is it is bright red, too young for me. But given the good price, I can live with it...
