GEO Social for Chinese

因为GEO十分重视UMASS的中国人团体，所以特别希望SPONSOR一个SOCIAL FOR CHINESE.  我们希望这个SOCIAL是CHINESE喜欢的型式.  我要于下星期三开会时告诉GEO STAFFS，请你们提议什么样式，什么时间的SOCIAL会是我们CHINESE最好玩的SOCIAL.  GEO 可以SPONSOR约$100-200，depends on 参加的人数.  

去年GEO SPONSOR我们的新生迎新BBQ，今年GEO会乐于继续参与，所以这个SOCIAL可以是其他型式的.

Staffs from GEO will also join us cos' they want to know Chinese more and let us know them.  They may bring some flyers and will be available in case people have questions.

Good jobs,  guys and mandy. So happy to see Umass Chinese community is growing strong steadily. When did GEO start to pay so much attentions to us Chinese?:))) United we are strong!  Sorry could be present but you guys are all welcome to Dallas/Texas, so lonely here, haven't seen a single live creature from Umass here(of course me aside). Where are those EE/CS people, there are tons of opportunities here for you and the life here is so easy and you can buy big big house for little money right after your first real job:)))).

boy, just noticed my status is "gao331----初来乍到"!  Chao, When did I become "初来乍到" again, the server downed again?  I am gonna to protest to GEO:))

我想知道这个sponsor有时间要求吗？有没有可能sponsor中秋的活动？
中秋可以算中国人第二大节日了，sponsor这个活动的，宣传的效果也比较好。

Mindy is right.  GEO wants to host a social for Chinese during the summer.

8月底好像不错吧，新生也到了大部分了大概。

不知道MANDY对6 FLAG有什么看法？

AMHERST附近有什么好玩的地方大家都想去的？

去beach吧，不然夏天就结束了

I haven't gone to 6 flags yet.  I'm only concerned about how the social can be held, and how to sponsor people's ticket.  

Poolside party or beach party looks like a good option.  It will be easier to offer food in a beach cos' it's public area.  

I know there is a nice lake/beach in Belchertown.  Any other suggestion?

似乎mandy说的那个是湖边beach

21 Town Beach Rd, Belchertown, MA 01007, around 16 minutes from Amherst.  I've gone there a few times, very nice sand, and water.  Many people swim there.  It's a lake so the water is quite clean and not salty.

BEACH的安全问题我有点担心阿
