[求助]sunoco太黑了……
请教各位……
昨天车出了些问题，冒烟，车身抖动，service engine soon灯亮，查manual说是emission control system的问题，今天去sunoco检查，mechanic说是knock sensor要换plus 5个小时的labor，除了今天charge的55，换那个玩意一共要charge我600……
在网上查了一下knock sensor最贵也就一百多，这东西可能自己换吗？真要这么久的时间吗？
惨……觉得那个mechanic比较水的样子，哪位给推荐一个水平较高又不宰人的车行啊……

I do not think it is just the knock sensor. Usually it just delays your timing if knock is detected. Even with it gone, you should only notice less power because of the delayed timing, and the sensor itself does not turn on the check engine light.
Get a diagnose somewhere else and let's see.

It takes a mount of money like fifty or sixty to do a computer diagnosis.
The mechanic really scared me a lot. They never provided a list for their prices, but at last they will always
gave me a exact number which most of the time exceeds 500 bucks...

Next time, go to autozone and let them read the code for you for free.
Labor is always expensive. That's normal.

Everything returns to normal.
The car stopped shaking and smoking.
The light was off.
The only explanation I can think out is the low quality of fuel......

Do not assume your car is fine now. Possible problems:
smoking: probably leaking coolant
Shaking: fuel line, rough idle, engine mount
check engine light: too many, refer to error code
