二、今天碰到游行那天支持zd的一个小姑娘，说hampshire college(还是smith college?)这个星期五有个关于西藏问题的会议，很多zd会去，他们欢迎有兴趣的中国学生也去。她说会发email告诉我具体的安排，目前还没收到。

Next Friday 18th, Hampshire college is sponsoring dinner/discussion
between Chinese and Tibetan Students from the five colleges. We expect
around 30 Chinese and 30 Tibetan students to turn up. The title of the
discussion would be something like..

China, Tibet: Going beyond History.

This
discussion is student initiated and three Hampshire professors will
moderate the event. We expect the discussion would last for two hours
(6:00PM-8:00PM).

哈哈哈，不知道为什么，看见这消息挺开心的。
去town hall请愿说明了什么？说明zd更有力量了吗？恰恰相反，说明他们感觉到weak了，说明游行和展台让他们产生了压迫感。
有小道消息说4月9号AMHERST的很多藏人们都去sf了，我又想笑了：想想看，他们千里迢迢的跑到前线，结果被打得落花流水；灰头土脸的回家一看：老窝也被人翻了。这种打完别人左脸再打右脸的感觉——实在是太爽啦。

I think we should be careful for this discussion because the title itself implies Tibet is not part of China.

We should say they need to change the title otherwise we would not go.

If we go, that means we agree with the title. Therefore we admit that Tibet is not part of China at the very begining.
