An update --- this room is taken for July, but still available for Fall semester, from August

这房子租金是多少呢，现在还空着么？

I recommend you going through mike's "buy sell listing" post

and just directly contact the renter to see if they are available.
It's more efficient.
of course, if you want to ask something about that area or the particular apt
