另外说一下order的问题。前天我写信问他们可不可以分装6lb一袋,他们只说了一句可以。可是昨天下完单以后,立刻给我来了封email说不能分装,说这样就需要2个container, shipping要加倍。我说你们早上刚给我回信说可以分装的,而且网站上说最大的盒子可以装90lb的。之后他们又说这是miscommunication, 他们occasionally可以把一个order分成2-3个袋子,但是分装的话需要更多的labor, 袋子,shipping, 所以每袋要加收5刀。其实她说得这些我都可以理解,加钱我也可以理解,可是他们至少应该在我第一次写信问的时候就说清楚。
anyway, 当时很郁闷,上班时间又不好跟他们打电话理论这些,心想以后再也不跟他们那儿买了,于是上网溜达看看有没有别家也在卖的,然后。。。居然发现有一家30lb只卖95刀!lacrawfish是可以price match的,于是回头跟他们pm, 最后加上25刀分装费,减去pm的钱,最后价格总算基本持平了,否则我都不知道怎么跟大家交待了



以后如果有同学想组织团购的话请注意分装问题,一定要事先问好。如果想搞party直接买30lb的话可以参考这个网站:

最后再说一下保存问题,小龙虾们长途跋涉有些伤亡在所难免,建议大家今天全都做出来,如果一定要留到明天再煮,请注意保存方法
How to Care For Live Crawfish:
Crawfish are PERISHABLE and should be cooked the same day you receive them. If you are not going to cook the crawfish immediately, you must keep them cool & damp
1. When you receive your crawfish take the sack out of the box, leave the crawfish in the sack, & hose the entire sack with fresh water. Do not leave the sack submerged in water. The crawfish are restricted in the sack & will drown.
2. Place the sack(s) back into the box & lay a bag of ice loosely on top of the crawfish sack(s) and close the box.
3. Leave the box in a cool damp area such as your garage/cellar or kitchen. If you live in an area where the temperature does not exceed 50 degrees then you may leave the box outside. However, dampen the crawfish first. Do not leave the crawfish outside if the temperature is freezing or below!
