刚才LLHH站内短信问偶去NY住店有没有便宜的方法，十分抱歉，偶也只用过starwood的卡redeem过一晚上的hotel,
不过说说偶知道的吧(by the way, 没有吃LLHH的叉烧鸡，所以积极性不高）， NY的土著Muggle, Fan, Sherry，tongtong肯定有不少心得，都来补充呀，不要笑话偶。
去NYC，可以住家庭旅馆，flushing有不少，还有一个办法是住NJ的Hotel, PATH往返NYC和NJ的车票倒也不贵，2，3刀单程的样子，省了汽油，时间会花一些在路上， 自己可以权衡一下，不过也就30分钟的样子，所以时间不是很紧张的可以试验这招，倒也方便，毕竟NYC里面停车不方便。或者住NJ，开车进NYC,也行，毕竟NJ的hotel便宜很多，3星的，在priceline可以bid倒4，50$左右。
偶以前总结的几点经验， 不局限于NYC，欢迎大家补充。
1. Expedia,com, Orbitz.com, Hotwire.com, travelocity(package比较便宜), 这些agents. 订的时候别忘记fatwallet的fatcash. 有的entertainment book 会有coupon(多为hotwire的coupon).
2.Priceline.com, 这个是自己Name价钱, 在选定的区域附近, 设定hotel的档次, 给出心理承受来的价钱. bid之前可以参阅biddingfortravel.com上面有随时更新的bid信息, 一般来说LA, Orlando, Las Vegas, 这样的城市, Hotel云集, 50$或者更低都有可能拿下3,4星级一晚上的hotel, 如hilton, hyrat, sheraton等. 所以这样比起几十刀住甚么hostel, motel,还有一般的hotel, 甚么holiday inn, bestwestern都好一些.
3. Starwood Points. 这个是我一直以来非常喜欢的rewards program, 1 points per dollar everyday purchase, 2000-3000 points就可以redeem一晚上sheraton category 1的酒店, 这些category 1的酒店一般价格也要上百的, 所以用points来换, 很不错.
4. Free hotel. 很多人说世界上没有免费的午餐, 其实不然. 欧们这次去D.C.成功的住了两个晚上的hotel, 是住在ramada hotel, 虽然是很一般的hotel,但是提供免费的buffet早餐, internet,parking, 而且都是double bed的hotel, 也算干净, 虽然不能跟sheraton, hilton比, 但是也相当的不错了, 毕竟是免费的.
如何搞到free hotel呢, go to triprewards.com, 选择你要去的地点, 搜索hotel, 得到一系列的hotel的价格, 其实这个网站的hotel价格是相当的低了,已经, 所以他们做出承诺, 如果你能发现更低价钱的同一天同一个地点的hotel, triprewards就会给你这个晚上free, 而且仅仅一晚上就可以了,不需要第二晚. claim过程也很简单, 具体的信息可以去triprewards claim里面找. 如何去beat他们的价钱呢, 一个一个agent找, 很不现实, 所以sidestep.com, kayak.com就排上用场了, 嘿嘿, 很有可能能搜索到便宜价格的hotel的. 同时可以去freetraveling.com, 去看free night, 这个网站非常不错, 强烈推荐.
同时转载一片北美住店指南, 非常有用,
1. 先看看要去的地方有什么店，价位是什么。
2. 去 sidestep.com 去查看各个店的价格，特别关注这样的 连锁店: 那个最低的价格
不是这家连锁店直接给出的。
3. 如果 2 存在的话，恭喜，基本你已经走完了 75%. 去连锁店网上确定它的价格更高
