As my parents are going to visit me. I am going to change my Honda civic for a safer and more spacious car. I have seen this car. 2002 Volvo S60 2.4T AWD. 36k miles, fully loaded. The owner is a Japanese guy and he asked for 1,4000$. Is this a good car? Is it worth the price? Is there any chance that I can cut the price a little bit? If yes, I will schedule a road test. Seems a little expensive for me. Aim at kbb trade-in.

Safety, room and power are definitely enough, but check the mechanical condition carefully. Volvo is not the most reliable.

My present Civic is reliable, but, I don't like it

Civic is fine. It works, gets you from A to B, but no fun

Volvo's T5 is a powerful engine, but also requires more care. Nice cars are like that
