Mitsubishi Electric Research Lab in Boston is currently seeking a highly motivated intern to conduct MAC protocol/algorithm design and simulation for IEEE 802.16-related system.
Responsibility: Design, analyze and simulate new/enhanced MAC protocol for next-generation IEEE 802.16 OFDMA system
Requirement:
1) Experience with protocol design and evaluation for IEEE 802.16 OFDMA systems
2) Extensive experience with OPNET model development and simulation
3) Possess at minimum an MS and preferably pursue his/her PhD degree in the related field (e.g., EE or CS)
Starting date: August/September 2007
Duration: 3 ~ 6 months
